Diviner's Code of Ethics

A diviner is in a unique and private relationship with anyone seeking help and has the following obligations:
To grant protection, to give  fearlessness, to give support.
To have sufficient intellectual preparation in the classic texts of the Book of Changes and to understand the hexagrams, wings, and treatises  thoroughly.
To have attained sufficient spiritual attainment and insight.
To respect the privacy of the person seeking assistance and never divulge private information.
Not to ever knowingly use divination for any illegal or immoral purpose and eschew  displays of I Ching divination as entertainment and amusement.
An I Ching diviner adheres to the motto "Primo no nocere." (Above all, do no harm").
While an appropriate fee may be charged, an I Ching diviner never turns away any sincere person.
