Las Cruces is nestled in the beautiful Mesilla Valley in southern New Mexico. Practically on the banks of the historic Rio Grande river, it is cradled in and around the intersection of Interstate 10 and Interstate 25, 40 miles north of El Paso, Texas.
Las Cruces is the second-largest city in New Mexico comprising a city and county population of approximately 180,000. Although primarily agricultural, it is also the home of New Mexico State University, while White Sands Missile Range and Johnson Space Center are nearby.
It continually ranks near the top of the 'best places to live in the U.S.' surveys.
