Admiral Chester W. Nimitz set down the report from Mitscher. He had already heard it from Commodore Mitsuo's 78th Task Force. Six carriers lost to some kind of new weapon that was fired from battleships and suicidual nip pilots...
Then the intercom went off."Sir, Admiral Halsey's here to see you.".
"Send him in.". He prepared for the booming voice that sounded like the USS. Iowa's guns going off.
"I can't believe it!!!Outdone by them yellow bastards by those gas guzzling monsters of which they smashed!!!!" Bull Halsey bellowed, while fixing his burned uniform in an effort to look presentable. Then he fixed his eyes on CinCPAC's.Halsey switched from his commander to the resting place of USS. Arizona and of his friend, R.Adm. Kidd.
"Sorry,sir.Just, they caught me by surprise with those large Yamatos and Kiis.I thought they were gonna try to hit me with their carriers, but they've got some kind of aerial torpedo that can shoot up into the sky and hit a ship."he finished.
"Admiral Tovey already has informed me of this. Its a japanese naval version of the V-2 rocket. They put them on on battlewagons and cruisers and launch them.Apparently they have magnets in 'em, so they can hit an enemy vessel. Also," he paused momentarily," you might wanna ease down on the "them yellow bastards". Commodore Mitsuo works hard and has heavy damage. He's a good man. In fact, here comes his task force."

The USS. Saratoga steamed at 9 knots around the area, many men watching where the symbol of Dec. 7 laid. Behind the largest carrier in the world, was the task force flagship, USS. New Mexico with five other battleships following her: USS. Tennessee, USS. Maryland, USS. Ohio and USS. Maine.Each showed the scars of fighting around the Phillipines, but New Mexico had more than any of the others. Two tugs cam aside and eased the old ship into a mooring aside Arizona when see started listing to port.They then dragged her to a dry dock near where USS. Indiana laid in another. Mitsuo looked across to the South Dakota class battlewagon. She was listing to starboard with water still gushing out. The superstructure was smaller, then he corrected himself. The top had been blown apart. An AA gun had its barrels still up with the armor totally gone. Turret I had the armor smashed in with one gun bent to port.Turret II was worst with a small glowing fire and the gun-house mixed with lower part of it.Turret III was the only one in good condition, with the metal dented a little. He could still see the two red marks of when the ship sank Hiei and the german battlecruiser Dresden when she escorted a convoy with Delhi, which now was at the bottom of the meditterean. The captain then snapped him out of his trance."Sir, the harbor says we can be back at see in 48 hours for the rest of the force to repaired.Also, Adm. Nimitz want to see you, Commodore." said Captain Brad Harat."Thank you, Captain.You're dismissed." the two friends saluted and the admiral walked down the ladder.

H.I.J.M.S. Yamato, flagship of Kakuta's Task Force

Captain Yishi Furasa paced back and forth on the bridge.The Admiral had'nt arrive yet and they where suppose to leave before Adm.Nagumo's flagship was launched and un-cermoniousily sent to battle so the americans could'nt figure out what it was. He sat down in his seat and began to think back when he had another large battleship under his command. It was the Kii. He went to she immediately after Nagumo's carriers sank Hornet and Wasp and badly damaged Enterprise and Saratoga. His ship was going bombard Henderson and sink any enemy ships. Kii ran into a new battleship and two older ones: Conneticut, New York and Nevada. Conneticut exploded like the HMS Hood and NY was crippled and look she was being abandoned.But, Nevada opened fire on the ship's main turrets and they exploded. Therefore, he had to escape his beloved command and swim in the oily water and wait for when the HIJMS Yura found he and his crew. Nevada towed USS. New York to Australia for repairs and to report on what they did. Luckily, most of the flag officers had been concentrated on their plan to take New Guinea, which succeeded on the fact they used paratroopers. Furasa was now confident that he could fight and win many battles now that he had the same ship that Yammamoto used.Commander Han Wasa approached him."Sir, Adm. Kakuta has come down with appendicitis.Adm.Kurita is coming to take his place, but, Adm.Nagumo wants us to set sail immediately. He will follow us later and Adm. Kurita will rendivous with us from a flying boat.". "All right, let's go.Have Musashi,Mutsu,Haruna,Nagato, Yamashiro and Hyuga line up behind us with our escorts line up port and starboard and the destroyers abeam of us.To the Emperor and HIJMS Nippon Bansai!!!!!Bansai!!!!!All throughout the ship, "May you live forever echoed out." It would be long time of darkness for both nations.
