Pics of me at 5 months (Sept 99)

Here are some real cool pics of me taken by my mom in September 1999. When my parents first brought me to the vet in July, I weighed 2.8 pounds. When my mom took me to see the vet (for my 3rd distemper shot), on September 8, I weighed 8 pounds! Dr. Cheri Caparelli, exclaimed how big I've grown and gave me a big kiss.

I've developed a taste for canned food! Now my mom feeds me with Nature's Recipe and Wegman's gourmet canned cat food, in addition to Whiskas Homestyle Favorites. Yum! And just to make sure that my mom remembers to feed me, I have to wake her up every morning to remind her that it's feeding time. Humans tend to get very forgetful.

My parents also made me wear a collar with a name tag because I like to run out of the door when they least expect it. They also got me a leash. Hah! I'm like Houdini, I wriggled myself out of my collar when my mom tied the leash to some post thinking that I couldn't escape. Wrong!

I love to stretch and jump.

My favorite color is orange.

My mom bought me this toy, a mosquito on a wand, a month ago. Today, its eyes and wings are gone--gorged out and ripped to shreds. I need a new flying toy, mom!

I usually greet my parents by rolling on the floor and inviting them to rub my tummy!

Here I'm running away from the camera. I've decided that I don't like the flash. But mom found me and took a close up of me as she laughed. It's wonderful being me.
