Website promotion:
- Tip 1
Never promote your wbsite by unsoliticed e-mail or newsgroup postings! You will be caught sooner or later - and then your good reputation is gone! The only people that make good money with spam are those that sell you the so called "fresh addresses" and the special stealth hide-your-sender-address mail programs.
One thing is sure: There will always be a way to find out who you are, and there is always a spam hater somewhere who will search that way and find it!
Forged headers and sender addresses will not help!
Okay, I know there are tricks that can be used to make tracking very hard - but never impossible!
- Tip 2
If you want e-mail addresses, dont buy a collector program or "harvester" - instead set up a Free for all Linklist. My favorite are those that do collect the e-mail addresses and not send out auto confirmation mails. So I make one mailing a week (or every second week) with the collected addresses, and that means I send out 2-400 mails instead of 20 000. But, no duplictae mails! - Tip 3
Good promotion results will be coming if you combine all available resources, such as:
- Search engine submission (use Submitwolf by Trellian, the best pogram!) or our free offer!
- Automatic server based submission - Promoblitza - the revolution in website promotion (really!)
- FFA linklist submissions (use LinksRX - the best and netwide cheapest!)
- E-mail sendings (see Tip 2) and signature files in your e-mails
- Classified ads (We use classify by Trellian - the best, posts successfully to more than 300 free classified ad sites!)
- Newsgroup posting - but beware of spamming or posting to inappropriate groups!
- Link exchange with other sites. Best is to post a link somwhere in your site and then friendly mail the webmaster of the other site and ask for a link back. Try it with us:-)!
- Banner exchange programs can be a good alternative, but think before joining, maybe your affiliate program banners bring more if you calculate?
- The free ad networks can help spread your links - example here!
- Let your fantasy work out some more and new ways to make your site known!
