First Laotian Baptist has been existed since 1986 under sponsorship of First Baptist Dallas Texas. Our first pastor was Rev. (Could not release his name). was a student of Criswell College in Down Town Dallas. After he earned his master degree of divinity from Criswell College God called him to be a missionary to (most dangerous country). Before Rev. ..........? gone to ......... he prayed to God to send us the right leader who love the Lord and cares for His people, finally God called Rev. Houmphanh Vongsurith from Immanuel Baptist Church Norman, Oklahoma to be a pastor of First Laotian Baptist Church Dallas until present time.
Pastor Houmphanh went to Okalahoma Baptist University, then continuing his education journey with Criswell Bible College, and earned his Master Degree of the New Testament in 2001 (on Campus). Rev. Houmphanh Vongsurith is also pursuing his Ph.D from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Fort Worth, Texas.

Most of our Church members are Laotian and we lives in many differences cities such as Euless, Bedford, Halltom, Grand Prairie, Duncanville, Dallas, Irving, Richardson, Garland, Rowlett, Wylie, Sachse and Terrell. 
We are having Colleges and Universities Students attending our Church. We also have a service in English for the youth every other weeks led by Bounthot, Panya, Manida, Cholo, Victoria and Vanessa. 
Our Church band is pro style, they always prepared and practice on Saturday and Sunday after Church.
Our Worship service is in both Lao and English so people from both generations will be able to hear the Gospel in their own language.
