The photo is of the 1956 grader but the No. 600
type existed in 56,55,54,53, and maybe earlier... ?
Description: 1956 appears to be the last year this grader with Diesel No. 600 on the side was produced. The exhaust stack (hole) was moved to the left side so it was consistant with the new Hi-way Department grader introduced in set No. 975-6 that year. It has metal hubs consistant with what the trucks had (metal with round holes). This grader was mostly the same in 1955 except for the exhaust stack being on the right side. In 1953 I believe the hubs were also different, and more like the 1953 trucks although I may be wrong on that. Also in 1953 the grader didn't have blue reflectors on it's cab yet. In 1954 I'm not sure what the differances were.
