| Year:
Photo is of a 1959 or 1960 grader although the
color was also used in 1958.
Description: This grader has seen better days. I remember it well. It was produced along with the Orange version in 1958, 59, and 60. It was part of Hi-way Department sets No.B207. I'm not sure of the name of the color used, but it was the result of well publicized research at the time which indicated that because the human eye's sensitivity was greatest in the range of yellow green, rather than Yellow red, all heavy equipment should be Chartruese, rather than yellow or blaze orange. One heavy equipment manufacturer used this color. I believe it was "Euclid".
