CONTENTS
It is my destiny to serve with pride but also with humility.
It is my trust to be able to handle a crisis when one occurs.
It is my duty to constantly give all that I have for my country, community, and Corps.
It is my obligation to obey the orders and regulations of the Corps and school authorities.
I shall take no action which could bring discredit to the Corps, to my school, or myself.
- To take charge of this post and all government property in view.
- To walk my post in a military manner, keeping always on the alert and observing everything that takes place within sight or hearing.
- To report all violations or orders that I am instructed to enforce.
- To repeat all calls from post more distant from the guardhouse than my own.
- To quit my post only when properly relieved.
- To receive, obey, and pass on to the sentry who relieves me, all orders from the commanding officer, field officer of the day, officer of the day, officers and nncommissioned officers of the guard only.
- To talk to no one except in the line of duty.
- To give the alarm in case of fire or disorder.
- To call the Corporal of the guard in any case not covered by instructions.
- To salute all officers, colors and standards not cased.
- To be especially watchful at night and during the time for challenging, to challenge all persons on or near my post and to allow no one to pass without proper authority.

- Be technically and tactically proficient.
- Know your people and look out for their welfare.
- Keep your people informed.
- Set the example.
- Insure that the task if understood, supervised, and accomplished.
- Train your people as a team.
- Make sound and timely decisions.
- Develop a sense of responsibility in your subordinates.
- Employ your command in accordance with its capabilities.
- Seek responsibilities and take responsibility fro your actions.

- INITIATIVE==>Taking actions in absence of orders.
- ENDURANCE==>Mental and physical stamina.
- BEARING==>Appearance and conduct.
- UNSELFISHNESS==>Placing others ahead of self.
- COURAGE==>Calm and firm in face of danger or criticism.
- KNOWLEDGE==>Know your job, your people, and yourself.
- LOYALTY==>Faithfulness to country, school, family, ect.
- ENTHUSIASM==>Displaying sincere interest and zeal.
