El Shaddai Academy
El Shaddai Ministries of Florida, Inc. (ESM) has extended its ministry to include a "617" school and is registered with the Florida Department of Education (School #351843). ESM refers to this school ministry as El Shaddai Academy and it is specifically for the purpose of helping Christian homeschooling families in Florida. ESM has a non-campus home based private school for grades K-12 which enables parents to become the primary educators of their children/students while fulfilling legal requirements recognized by the Florida Department of Education. Because ESM is a "617" school we can cover families in any county in the state of Florida. Our ministry is for families, under the Lordship of Jesus Christ--Yeshua, who believe that they are commanded by God's Word to train up their children in the statutes and ways of God and to "love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, an and all thy soul, and with all thy might" (Deut. 6:5).
ESM believes in the freedom of the parents to choose the best curriculum and teaching methods for their children. While it is the divine right of the parents to teach their children at home, it is also the responsibility of the parents to be diligent in this duty. ESM provides the vehicle and encouragement to enable the parent to accomplish this task. ESM can assist you in preparing a high school transcripts and offers a high school diploma. A diploma may be earned following Florida state guidelines for graduation or liberty may be taken to design a course that meets requirements as set forth and outlined by the parent/teacher. Parents desiring to choose an alternative course for graduation may do so by submitting their goals and requirements for their student prior to graduation. Grades are optional though ESM recommends that grades be given for junior high and high school.

Private schools for homeschoolers can vary greatly in belief and requirements. ESM is often desired by homeschoolers who would like the freedom to be constitutional homeschoolers but for whatever reasons would still like the assurance of complying with state law avoiding legal conflict.
ESM is a member FCCPSA (Florida Coalition of Christian Private School Administrators) which is a statewide support group that trains, informs and supports administrators of private schools for homeschoolers. Their heart is to serve all Christian Homeschool Families in Florida with the purpose to honor and glorify Christ Jesus.
