Poor soul, is it that hard to find a good site nowadays? Well, your search continues...
My name is Dinoj Surendran and I'm a Zimbabwean-bred student entering the graduate Computer Science program at the University of Chicago in Fall 2000.
This is where you'll hear about my plan for life and other great fiction stories. You may also learn that I can't spell anithing correctly.
Some links:
I hesitate to put more math links as that might give the impression that I know more math than I actually do.
You know something? I used to think math was fun once. Now I just think of it as a powerful tool. I think that's pretty sad. Maybe one day I'll fall in love with it again for its own sake.
As for the jokes on the left, they're a remnant of a time when I had more time. In other words I may only update them next summer (postscript: the summer in mind has since come and gone, so ignore this) when I reorganise my life, universe, hard drive and room. A few of the jokes are original -- you'll know them when you see them and suddenly find yourself at a sink.
Serious WARNING: To anyone who ever meets me in future, please for god's sake don't expect me to be funny. Graduate school has made me a lot more serious, subdued and cautious in life. This may be a short-term thing, but time will tell. (Actually, Time has yet to tell me anything but I've heard she's more open to handing out information to others.)
And this lovable creature is me thinking about
life.
