INTRESTS

Some of my main intrests are singing, listening to music and going out with my friends, when I'm not babysitting! I also enjoy going for long walks just to get away from everything. I also enjoy music from the Backstreet Boys, All Saints, Celion Dion, and the Titanic sound track.

SCHOOL

I attend Albert.E.Peacock school. Peacock is an awesome school. The teachers that work here are awesome.Some teachers can have bad days though. If you ever decide to move to Moose Jaw, you should come visit Peacock.

ABOUT ME

My full name is Melissa Kathleen Ruby Crombie. I'm 15 years old and in grade ten, my birthday is May 7,1982. I was born in New Market Ontario. I moved from Ontario when I was two years old. Then we moved to Brooks, Alberta. After that we moved to Calgary, Alberta, once we got settled there we stayed there till I was fourteen years old. Then we moved here to Moose Jaw,Saskatchewan. I really enjoy Moose Jaw it's a break from being in the city. When I was six years old I went into a comma than I became a diabetic, it was not very fun waking up in the hospital with I.V.'s all over me. Any way I have two younger sisters, Melanie, who's ten and Caitlin who's six. There's not much else that I can tell about my self.

MY FUTURE PLANS

When I graduate from high school, I plan to attend the U of Calgary . I hope to persue a profession in looking after children who have Downs Syndrome. I think that a lot of people are very rude to children who have Downs Syndrome, and so I hope I can help those children who have Downs understand that some people don't understand why that child has Downs. Hopefully I can make that childs life a whole lot better.Visit a site on Downs Sydrome.

BIRTHDAY: May 07/82

AGE: 15 almost 16

FAMILY: I have two younger sisters, Melanie who is ten years old. She has spinal bifida, which means part of her spine is missing and she will never be able to walk. I have another sister who is six years old,her name is Caitlin, she is very healthy and very annyoing!! Myself i'm a diabetic and have been a diabetic for almost ten years. My mom has had two heart attacks and is also a diabetic.

FUTURE PLANS: I really enjoy working with small children, so I hope I may be able to get a job in that field. Ireally want to work with children that have Downs Syndrome.

VOLUNTEER WORK: I have volunteered to work at Sasktel, delivering telephone books, it was fun but cold!! When I was in Calgary I volunteered to work at CUPS and help the homeless which was fun because they were really nice people. I also worked at the Mustard Seed, which feeds people who can't get money for food.
