La Paz is just wonderful ... with about two and a half million inhabitants, it is the biggest city in Bolivia and one of the most beautiful cities in South America. La Paz is at 3600 mts. above sea level and it is  the highest capital in the whole world. "El Illimani" with 6402 mts. which is the symbol of La Paz, is a huge mountain with everlasting snow peaks. The city itself is a grand canyon, sorrounded by mountains which gives a special air to the atmosphere. From "El Alto", the top of the city, you will have a great view of La Paz. ... If you ever come to visit La Paz, you can go there for best view and pictures.  Another characteristic of  La Paz are the people, which come mostly from indian heritage. This makes the  city even more interesting and attractive, because they still maintain their culture and traditions.  Another interesting fact about La Paz and Bolivia in general, is the mixture of cultures between Spanish and Indians, you can realize that, meeting the local people which are very friendly specially with tourists.  What tourist enjoy most during their stay, are the colorful markets, full of things to buy : all kinds of fruit, vegetables, food, juices, typical handycrafts, etc. These are some of the snapshots of LA PAZ :
