Theme: "Research and development of the grain media structural models"

Research aim: detail research for structural properties, physical and technical parameters of a grain rock arrays, which are created by open pit mining.

Investigation is directed on the creation of the computer program that models packing of spherical particles into container with selected sizes of sides. The spoiling technology can be adopted in attention, and structural properties depend from a technology (if the grain size distribution of a broken rock is irregular)

At the end packing we can account following characteristics of a media:

• density,
• porosity,
• specific surface,
• coordination number (or number of contacts, come one particle),
• distributions of the above named sizes,
• factor of a filtration of environment,
• stability to external loads.

The investigation results can be used in building of engineering constructions, chemical, nuclear industry, metallurgy, power system, and at researches of processes of warm carrying and weight carrying.
