Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

People couldn't stop staring at me. Usually we wear the peach plaid , but for Mickey's Halloween Party we got to wear tuxes and cosmotology painted our faces to look like we are dead (example above). Both days that the party went on, which was a night event, it rained! Thus, guests were dissapointed to find out that both events were sold out and a day ticket was not valid. For those that worked the event, it was like working E-Ticket nights. Where the crowds aren't as big and we stood around the hall waiting for park closing. City Hall gets busy during park closing with lost and found, lost parties and other situations.

Bunch and Crunch

Guest relations department was in charge of all the candy we distributed that night. I worked for my biggest paycheck that week. All day and all night, GRs and other departments worked diligently to mix and deliver candy to locations at every land. It was a lot of candy and plenty of Fruit Chews and Bunch and Crunch months after the event.

Holloween Horror Nights

What a fun night! In October, after Universal Studios closes they reopen the place up like a town in terror. They had four haunted houses set up, dead zombies, chainsaw killers and creepy gouls roaming around with shows from Beetlejuice to Bill and Ted's Halloween adventure (which was the BEST show I've ever seen). Plus they had T2, Back to the Future, Kong and other bigger attractions opened. They had a welcome center for Islands of Adventure, which is going to have six theme lands and each having some kind of thrill ride, i.e., roller costers free falls.

About 15 of us went to Horror Nights. If you are a Florida resident or an annual pass holder, you could buy tickets for $15 compare to $40 regular price. My roommates were annual pass holders and helped us out with the discount. IT was worth the $15, but not if I had to pay full price. If you have the chance to go to Horror Nights, go with a bunch of drunk people.
