ROOMMATES and FRIENDS

Fall 1997



Liz and me Liz Strouse was my roommate Fall 1997. She and I met on the WDWCP Listserve. In fact, it was her idea to hold the Alumni Reunion at the Luau! She wasn't able to have the Luau (su96) in June, so I kind of took over and the rest is history.
Liz called me last summer and asked if I would be interested in living with her and the boys in the fall. Everything was taken care of... I love her. She had the bills paid on time, cleaned the kitchen, straighten out the boys... I mean she was great! She recommended us going to the Sarah McGlaughin concert, and that was awesome.... saw the best live band ever, the Barenakedladies Ladies. The only thing is, she worked the graveyard shift from October on, so I never saw her -- sorry to keep you up in the mornings :) -- Liz worked everywhere in Revenue Control, she did such a great job.... and worked graveyard most of the time. I'm just glad someone in the apartment knew how to count and keep everything organized. She went back home to Michigan and after graduation came down to Orlando to live with the boys, again.

Eric and me Eric Woodard used to be Chris' (my beau) and Larry's roommates back at Vista Fall 1995. Interestingly, he was one of my roommate fall 1997. My parents does not know I roomed with two guys, guess when my sister (Hey Vivi) reads this, my parents will find out soon enough.

Eric is still working at Main Street Operations.... MS Op and MKGR shared the same office space, I never saw Eric though. The other guy roommate was Larry Weiss, I don't have a good picture of him. -- sorry, Larry -- Larry worked at Pasta Piazza and Fountainview, he's back in Gainesville going to culinary school.

Capemay cafe
A few of us went to Capemay Cafe.... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I love seafood. I don't know why Eric went, considering he doesn't like seafood and got sick when the odor came across him. Five of us went one night during the Cast Holiday 50% off selected restaurant. It was Kristina, Me (Mona) and Liz shown above and Mike I and Eric (see left).

Jolly Holiday Reunion

Not many people knew that there was a second reunion last year (1997) in addition to the Second Alumni Luau held last summer. Jason, Celeste, Me, Ryan, and Candy got together for the Jolly Holiday around Christmas. I posted on the WDWCP listserve to get more people to come, but they just didn't go. So we had fun without them, we sat across from a family from Calif (I think). We hung out at the Comtemporary afterwards.... first time I used valet parking :) Also, that night was the first night I met Ryan and Celeste. Ryan droved down from FSU, Jason from Jax, and Celeste is still at WDW. I recommend the show, but the food was cold and less than exquisite.

Beaches and Cream
Candy and Me at Beaches and Cream after a long day at Clearwater beach with Jeff and her roommate Stacie. We did many things together, most of which involved work.
