My first Walt Disney World College Program was Summer 1995. It was the best summer of my life and I'm so glad I took the chance to work for the Mouse. Breaking out of the nest was not hard, let me tell you. The people you will meet below are my special friends and you'll see why...
I left Disney with the impression that someone gave me the greatest friends in the world and took it all back at the snap of a finger. Gosh, I miss them.
Monday, June 10, 1995 -- Caravaned with my friend Clark Williams (Studios EPIC) from Birmingham. We picked up Malcolm Webster (Tower photos) on the way to Atlanta in Anniston, AL. We kept on stopping in Georgia and I kept on bitchin' about us stopping, so Malcolm (whom I had never met prior to that day) thought I was a bitch. But he and I are best friends now :) It took us 11 hours to get to DeLand, FL where Clarke's aunt had her lakehouse. Yes 11 hours to share my excitement with Malcolm's television next to me on the passenger seat, while Clarke and Malcolm rode in one car. Anyway, Clarke's aunt and her husband were very generous for putting us up for the night. They let me have the spare bedroom, while the guys slept in the living room.
