As mentioned before, education is deemed important in the USA. In order for you to be a more productive citizen, it is important that you pursue an education.
In the USA, you will receive a general education from grades pre-k to 12. This will include studies in Mathematics, Art, History, English, a Foreign Language, The Sciences and Physical Education. Once you have graduated, you may wish to pursue a higher education at the University level. Your counselors in school will help you choose the career and school most suited for you. They will also assist you in applying for the schools of your choice. Financial Aid is available for those who qualify. Scholarships are also available.
Finding a job when you have a college degree is more lucrative, but it is not necessary!
