Stone Mountain State Park
Stone Mtn., as seen from the Loop Trail
Stone Mountain State Park is loaded with 'goodies' for the hiker! Great views, Waterfalls, Cliffs and old Homestead. The Stone Mtn., loop trail takes you climbing over the rock cliffs (this trail is quite steep but you can do it with just a good pair of hiking boots. The trail is strenuous even though it is only about 4 1/2 miles long). Trail maps and info are available in the Park. The loop trail crosses the entire length of the mountain as seen above.
