White River Lighthouse connects White Lake with Lake Michigan. The the connection is made by a man-made channel at the end of this channel is the White River Lighthouse. Built around 1870 it sits on the shore of Lake Michigan on a bluff amongst a lot of trees. The building itself is brown, which is unusual for Lighthouses. The landscaping is unique with its Ivy crawling up the brick. Even though the directions and parking were easy the Lighthouse and building its self were not very accessible, due to Hills trees and lack of sidewalks. Just a small ways op highway 31 is located the city of Monty Q., which claims with to have the largest weather vain. I included a picture of it.
