This theme was created in April 1997, while experimenting with Doc Ozone's technique of sinking buttons into the background.  His site remains one of my favorites, combining slick graphics and java, with techniques that use straight Photoshop (no plugins like Alien Skin).  His site has been different almost every time I've seen it, and is now virtually all java.
