OBJECTIVES
The objectives of the society are:
To promote undocked dogs as good examples of their breeds.
To have the breed standards changed to incorporate the undocked tail carriage.
At present being realized in several parts of Europe, including England.
CODE OF ETHICS
Members will properly house, feed and exercise all dogs in their care.
Members will arrange for appropriate veterinary attention if and when required.
Members will not allow any of their dogs to roam at large or cause a nuisance to neighbours or those carrying out official business.
Members will ensure that their dogs shall wear properly tagged collars and shall be kept full leashed or under effective control when away from home.
Members agree not to breed from a bitch which in anyway is deleterious to the bitch or the breed.
Members agreed not to breed from a bitch on consecutive seasons, except under special circumstances and with veterinary guidance.
Members agree that should the new owner be unable to keep the dog/s for whatever reason at whatever age, they will either take back the dog/s they bred or help the owners place the dog/s in suitable homes.
Members will provide written details of all dietary requirements and give guidance concerning responsible ownership when placing dog/s In a new home.
Members will not sell any dog to commercial wholesalers, retail pet dealers or directly or indirectly allow dogs to be given as a prize or donation in a competition of any kind.
Members will not knowingly misrepresent the characteristics of their breed nor falsely advertise dogs nor mislead any person regarding the quality of the dog.
Members will ensure that all relevant documents are provided to the new owner when selling or transferring a dog.
