As civilization becomes technically advanced and more complex we must evaluate if our leadership system is at it's fullest functionality. In other words we now might have to consider choosing and recruiting from a base drawn out of the ranks of those who are technically trained and fully aware of all our advanced options in life to create solutions and processes most fitting such a progressive & complex civilization. For many ages we used a system based on mainly popularity based sometimes on something as silly as a family name recognition or an image. Today's civilization needs more complex structures to formulate selection from the former choosing from the good ole boys network created by money and power. Those former ways were not intelligent experts controlling public policies, they were merely bought off or drafted prop figures by a network of people seeking to maintain power and control as well as policies fitting their financial status and their own special interests. There was a time when legislation from different states established research agencies which assembled data to use as a guide to formulating the best processes to legislative actions. Maybe future methods would let the new complex problem solving computers that think for themselves dwell on our best solutions and best formulations for success so that we have the best functioning plan and formation of Gov't possible for a smoother and more successful and efficient Gov't working for the people & not the fat cats who control the system. More explicit: A number of years ago I suggested when the newly taunted interactive media technology was in place, to use it for interactive town meetings and also using the interactive ability to vote on individual issues so your representatives truly knew how the people felt and what THEY wanted. This way people would be more involved in their gov't and be more empowered and be more responsible. Recently someone suggested some of these same ideas as being plausible soon when more people are hooked up and units become part of your entertainment system and cable or TV. More Polls on-line votes, more forums, more ability to be in touch with the info and the involvement of the issues. We are slowly seeing this increase in involvement today as the technology brings us all closer to being hooked up in a way perfect for this set up. There are many more simple steps like these leading towards a reshaping of old habits into more efficient ones. The system has always been ready for improvements to bring more justice and interaction and success into it. Now that we have the perfect opportunity we have to just dig right in and do it where we can make improvements, and continually but gradually improve on the system that was a base and stepping stone to get us to where we are now and eventually where we want to be. | |||||||||||||||||||

What will happen to the Churches at the end of the gentile authority? What will be in store for all the churches once people find the true authority when it's set up in Jerusalem? What purpose will they serve when people realize their errors? I propose the new Heads of Churches will be involved more in having an eye or watch on the community needs, and spotters within their flock letting them know what needs to be stressed, like problems in the area needing special lessons addressing special issues and needs of the individual community. Example: some communities have a high divorce rate, adultery rate, or crime rate, others have a high drug use rate or murder rate, and so on. Suggested activities: Churches involving in mini polls to evaluate what people believe or know to get a feel for what needs to be stressed and taught. Volunteer people in the flock need to be involved in creating programs for planing to offset any local problems and identifying and finding solutions or lessons based on those issues. Example: if an area is getting run down and the poor or elderly can't afford to fix up dilapidated houses then people will organize and inquire about donated tools (paint, tar, plaster etc)and round up volunteers to teach others and to fix the homes of those who can't afford it, in the same time they can be helping teens in job training (home repair) and giving them their job experience as well as something that looks great on their resume. Do all these things by organizing talk groups which can identify deficiencies much like the PTA meetings or town council meetings. Make reports of what's needed in the community whether it's moral, security, clean up, repair, family issues, etc.. and follow through on these reports. Allow suggestions in making solutions for how these issues can be handled & met head on and if one can't be found then approach the other churches outside your area for advice and help on solutions to combat local problems. | |||||||||||||||||||
