ANGEL OF WINTER
Snow capped mountains tinged with hues of blues
and pinks as is the sun kissed sky.
A sight of beauty with lush pines standing
proud and tall with limbs heavily laden with
soft needles.
All of this a backdrop to the wondrous beauty
of the Angel of Winter.
She stands gazing all around at her vast holdings.
A flowing cape fastened at her neck with a
lovely broach of ice.
Her wings quivering with delight at the vast
countryside of which she is the caretaker.
She is reaching out to all of us, her children.
As proud and caring as a mother with her newborn
child.
The care and love we feel in this crisp clean cold
air
of a new winters day.
Our Angel of Winter pays particular attention to
all those in love.
Finding special places for them to meet, just
close
your eyes and you will see.
We are special people as not many have
seen the beauty and loving warmth of the
beautiful Angel of Winter.
Bestowing her kisses of love and understanding
of all within her realm.
Oh, if this is but a dream with such splendor
then I don't want to awake.
Because you see I am one of those
heart to heart lovers who must have
those dreams to fulfill my commitment.
