Why did we turn against this man?
What was His crime?
What were we afraid of?
A teacher, a healer, a friend to
all the little children.
Sent to teach us about His
Father in Heaven.
I feel the pain and shame for
man in what we did in fear,
jealousy and hatred.
I see and feel the heartbreak
of Jesus the suffering He was
enduring to save us all.
Why can't we trust the goodness
and love in someone?
Do we all have a guilty conscience?
Is this because Eve taunted Adam
to partake of the forbidden fruit?
God gives us life and all anyone could
ever want.  And suddenly that isn't
enough for us we want more.  Who do
we think we are?   How can we question
the person who created us?
Please God give me the strength to accept
what I can't change and to accept Jesus
who died for us as my Savior and salvation.
I am but a poor humble servent who has
placed their life in your hands.  Please guide
me to do what you MY Father wants of this
lowly child of God.  My heart is breaking at
the wrongs we have done to You and Your Son.
Please forgive us Father as we know not what
we are doing.   You gave us your most Precious
Jewel  and we shunned Him and turned our back on
the both of you.
