A TIME OF SILENCE
Sitting alone deep in thought in the shadows.
And end of a perfect day. A sunset like something
I haven't seen before like a study of reds and golds
in
a painting. So breath taking and such a delight
to me.
Soft waves lapping onto the shore gently covering
his lover
the shore with himself with care and love to keep
her
warm during the long night ahead.
The surf is touching my rock now as well and the water
has
risen all around and is reflecting this wondrous view.
Maybe there have been sunsets like this before but
I seem
to have been so busy living. That I didn't see
or feel what
life was really about. Now I take the time to
look around
and enjoy what is around us each and every day.
I enjoy the fragrance of life and the mixture of
many scents.
The tastes of life some bitter some sweet .
The sounds of life as well from singing
birds with their heavenly music to the
sounds of busy traffic and people hurrying
from one place to another.
The feelings of life laughter and sorrow.
tears of sorrow and happiness.
I especially enjoy this time of day as this is the
time I spend alone reflecting on the happenings of
the day the memories good and bad.
And say thank you God for allowing me another day
of life and enjoyment of all around me.
Thank you God for another beautiful and wonderful
day.
