Since Bears hibernate in the winter and they head for higher ground in early fall, we are asking you to send us sighting information for all major animals in the park within the last year (not Buffalo or elk).  We will then post them on our maps.  Thank You.

This site is intended to help visitors to Yellowstone Park locate areas  frequented by  bears.   In order to help others view Yellowstone's great bears, we ask that the previous viewers to the park, please e-mail us with locations, approximate time, pictures, information, and even videos of your bear sightings.   We will then mark our map with the location of the bear sighting. Therefore, future visitors to Yellowstone will be able to predict the place and time to view Yellowstone Bear's.
