About 12 Golden-crowned Kinglets were foraging in Plateau Live Oak and Sugarberry trees at RV on 11 December 2002, loosely associated with a passage flock of robins, waxwings and bluebirds (tg).

A single was present in a passage flock of birds at Camp Rio Vista on 11 December 2002 (tg). This is a highly unusual location for this species in Kerr County.

Eight individuals showed up on wires at the tennis courts at RV on 11 December 2002, but were gone within an hour (tg). This is a highly unusual location for this species in Kerr County.
American Robin, Turdus migratorius
Several hundred robins with associated bluebirds, waxwings, solitaires and kinglets, showed up at RV on 11 December 2002 (tg). By 12 December 2002 only a handful remained.
Townsend's Solitaire, Myadestes townsendi
Two individuals were found at the top of a Sugarberry tree during a temporary stopover by a passage flock of robins, bluebirds and waxwings on 11 December 2002 (tg). This is the first known modern record of this species in Kerr County, though there are fairly recent records from Real and Edwards Counties.

Cedar Waxwing, Bombycilla cedrorum
About 100 waxwings associated with a flock that included American Robins, Golden-crowned Kinglets, Western and Mountain Bluebirds, and Townsend's Solitaires that stopped for about an hour at RV on 11 December 2002 (tg). About a dozen were linereing as of 18 December 2002.
