Cephalotus

Soil : 50% sand with 50% sterilised peat.

Water : rainwater or boiled and cooled tapwater or distilled water (expensive though ...) Use the tray system to water the plants, reduce watering for some months to replicate dormacy (see below)

Sun : Semi-shady conditions. Too much sun will burn the poor plant

Dormancy : Give it 1-2 months' dormancy. Stand in garage if in temperate countries. In Singapore, you can either place the plant in the fridge (see Dioanea) or melt ice cubes over the plant in the pot (see Dioanea)

Propagation : Stem cuttings, seeds, leaf cuttings (rarely successful), tissue culture
