A NIGHT OF INNOCENCE
 
 
A quiet evening filled with beautiful melodies.
The sweet lilting music was playing and we spent
our time together in each others arms dancing the night away.
We talked, we laughed as I felt my love for you slowly
unfolding as the rose bud opens.
Reflecting in your eyes I could see the love you feel
for me.  And a glimmer of what our lives were
about to become because of our finding each other.
That was the night we declared our love to each other.
We began to plan and dream of that day in the
future when we would be joined as one.
Our lives forever entwined in this wondrous
new love of ours.  Knowing that as long
as we have each other our lives are full
of joys and happiness.  Built on all
our hopes, dreams and our love.
Our time together is so precious to us both
hours seem like minutes.
Such memories as our dancing the night away.
We hold in our hearts to carry us through,
the time we must be apart.
Hold me my darling make the time stand
still stop the sands of time.
Make this time become the rest of our
lives spent in the happiness of being
together.  Loving and sharing all
the life we have left to us.
