These nine eggs need your help! Without you they may never grow to become productive, fat and contented Hens. Without you they may never have the chance to use their egg tooth to let themselves out of their calcium elipses, never seeing the sky or their "sex-linked buff " mommas. Without you they have a slim chance at survival, but through the Universal Egg to Hen Fund and the diligent and watchful eyes of the Funds "egg to hen" managers, you have a chance to help.
We have made available, limited time, surrogate chicken rancher time shares, for each of our embryo developing eggs. For less than 3.5 cents per day you will assure the the health and well being of "your" chick. You will receive a photo of your chick and be able to experience chicken ranching, without the fuss or muss and know that the hen, that grows and matures, will be organically raised for egg production and will come to no fowl end, but end it days in the serenity of Coastal Northern California.
Each quarter you will recieve a report on the health and progress of "your" chicken, along with photos at varying stages of development. Each year you will have a
special gift sent to your door, this will be your choice of an egg*(laid by "your" chicken) or 1/4 lb. of "your" chicken's droppings* to provide nutrients to your plants at home (these do make fine conversation pieces also).With your first report and photo (soon after your payment is received) a certificate will be sent, made out in your name or anyone that you name as a time share chicken rancher.
Imagine the little cheaps and chirps of "your" time share chick as she explores her world and learns from her momma how to scratch the earth, for insects and other food sources, just like the other "big" hens. After a few months they mature into full productive hens and are introduced to "Colonel" our hardy rooster. "Colonel" protects and cares for each of his hens and provides that wonderful morning crow and crows with delight when each hen lays her daily egg.
