I woke up this morning and started out my day as I normally do. I
woke up, rolled around in my burrow a little bit to help wake myself
up, and went outside. After leaving my small burrow, I went down to
Snake River. At the river, I bathed myself, I drank some of the cool,
refreshing stream water, and I caught a few fish for breakfast.
Before eating the fish however, I said a prayer to Marawen, asking
her to bless this meal. I quickly ate my fish and scurried along for
the rest of the day?s activities. The first thing I did, just as I do
every morning, I sprinted through the entire forest, hoping to
improve my speed and stamina for any sudden, unexpected battles.
After my run, I clambered up a mountain, hoping to become stronger.
Suddenly, I heard a yell from somewhere within the forest. It sounded
like a signal of battle. I scurried down the mountain as fast as I
possibly could and sprinted through the forest towards the origin of
the cry. I peered through the trees and underbrush and saw a raging
battle. I ran onto the battlefield and attacked the invaders. I
clawed, bit, slashed, and ripped at the enemy. I took down many, many
invaders of the forest. I did not even have the slightest remorse for
taking so many lives. On the battlefield I saw many other Storm
Weavers, such as Milady and Jac. After the dust cleared, I saw many,
many bodies that lay scattered across a bloody and worn battlefield.
We had conquered the invaders and had protected the forest once
again. I had had my first true experience of battle and it was
thrilling. I had slain many enemies without the slightest feeling of
sorrow or pain. I had truly become a wolverine.
