As Many of you already know, on January 14th of 2000 our family tragically lost our home to an electrical fire. It was an older home built in 1903, the wiring in the attic was the original wiring and it ignited with the blown in insulation burning the entire second floor and the center of the first floor. We were left with the decision to move, rebuild or purchase a prefab home. After alot of thought and brainstorming with family and friends, with the help of our friend Rex Cherrington, of Galesburg idea, we came up with a plan.....................We were going to live in the barn....Yes, many thought we were nuts...but after almost two years of hard work and labor, we are now living in "The Barn."
