TREASURES MR BOJANGLES
TREASURES MR BOJANGLES is a young black stallion with a fine show record
and an exceptional heritage. He was a blue ribbon winner in Class A Arabian
competition as a yearling and was named Quad City All Breed Light Breeds Halter
Champion in 2004. He has done very well competing in halter against many
other breeds, with two firsts in halter and a reserve championship with 43 horses
competing. He has been shown successfully in western pleasure as well, winning
the Land of Lincoln Breeders Award in Arabian Western Pleasure in the
stallion and mare class.
TREASURES MR BOJANGLES is by the recently deceased FS TREASURE BEY, who
was unshown due to an injury. He has done well as a sire with champion get in
all-Arabian competition including hunt pleasure junior horse reserve champion
BEY BERRI PEANUT (who has never placed below third in hunt pleasure) and
halter reserve champion AOTH PVA AL PADRON. FS TREASURE BEY was named a Leading
Juvenile Sire by Arabian Horse Times magazine in 2002.
FS TREASURE BEY is a product of one of the most successful nicks in the
breed today--that of U.S. Reserve National Champion Stallion PADRONS PSYCHE on
a daughter of U.S. Reserve National Champion Stallion BEY SHAH+. This cross
has produced 15 National winners including U.S. National Champion Sweepstakes
Colt PSYTANIUM, U.S. National Champion Mare NW SIENA PSYCHE, and U.S. National
Champion Sweepstakes Colt, Reserve National Champion Futurity Colt and Junior
Stallion ENZO. PADRONS PSYCHE has also sired 11 National winners out of BEY
SHAH+ granddaughters, making 26 of his 83 National winners through 2003 out of
BEY SHAH+ bred mares!
FS TREASURE BEY also comes from a highly successful female family. His
dam ISLAMAE BEY is a 1989 Region 10 Top Five Mare and her only other foal, HJ
DOUBLE SHOT, is a junior champion at halter. ISLAMAE BEY is a maternal sister
to the sensational broodmare MAF NIKE, herself a reserve champion in halter.
She is the dam of 6 champions including twice U.S. Top Ten English Pleasure AOTR
18-39 MISS MORADUKE (herself dam of U.S. Top Ten Sweepstakes Filly and
Futurity Filly DONATELLA). This line is also noted for producing the much sought
after black color as it traces back to the black mare ROMAGA.
TREASURES MR BOJANGLES is out of the black mare HURIAHS BASIMA, who is
a double granddaughter of the black stallion WINDRUSH DIABLO. Both of her
parents are black as well. She is linebred to BAGDAD and TARFF, both sires of
National winner producers and found in the pedigrees of many black Arabians. She
also has lines to U.S. National Champion Stallion and English Pleasure
RAFFON++, to National winner sires BAMBY and IBN HALIFA, to Canadian Top Ten Stallion
and National winner sire KHATAN, to Canadian National Champion Trail
SURCHARGE+ and multiple lines to National winner sires ORBIT and SUR- VIA.
TREASURES MR BOJANGLES offers to mare owners his proven beauty and
athletic talent, a heritage of National winning relatives, and the good possibility
