Tradable Pollution Discharge Permitting for Industrial Users | home
About Me
My name is John Paniccia...
I am a graduate student at Florida International University (F.I.U.) and have been studying environmental issues for over eight years. Currently, I am working towards a Master of Sciences degree in Environmental Studies, through the Environmental Studies Department at F.I.U. I am completing my thesis work in Pollution Policy and Economics.
Also, I work at the Broward County (Florida) Office of Environmental Services and have been involved in the pollution control industry for over eighteen years. I have been working on special environmental projects for nearly five years and I am currently working as an Environmental Compliance Specialist. There is much interest in the area of Tradable Permitting Systems in our state and the future holds promise for movement towards more effective and efficient methods of pollution control through the use of incentive-based policy development.
As time and need warrants, I will be updating this site in order to provide new research data. I hope you find the information contained in this site to be useful and interesting, as we search for answers to our pollution problems and move toward a more sustainable environment.
