And meet Liona's son Building A Mystery, better known as "Bam", as a baby. Sired by Rowdy Yates, "Bam" is the product of the first Grande Conquistador to Grande Conquistador mating in SMR history. He is now a five year old and wonderful under saddle. Will begin his show career soon. Here's "Bam" as a grown stallion:
Starlite's pure Book Cliffs son, The King of Spain, by El Tigre Segundo stands in CA for Sary June Ladd's Lofty Dreams Ranch, and Dave Pardee owns her daughter Destina de Winona by John Wesley Hardin. We know what a wonderful opportunity that Caballos de Destino gave us by allowing us to purchase the great old mare Espéranza some years ago. Now we'd like to return the favor and give another breeder the chance to add the blood of great proven foundation lines. Where else can you buy a Tiger Eye daughter out of Country Club?
$1500 for Starlite.
Willow Dance (AIHR O. HOA)--6 year old appaloosa filly by Broom out of Mora's Spring Dance, foaled 1997.
"Willow" is a very loud colored appy with both red and black spts overall, and she's a sweetheart to boot. She's a full sister to Born To Run.
Here's Born To Run aka "Barney", brother to Willow Dance. "Barney" has halter, color and costume wins for Dreams 'N Color Ranch in Canton, TX.
This mare combines the bloodlines of Broom and Choctaw Sun Dance in a balanced and colorful package that includes that rare appaloosa gene. Her exquisite Broom head will add refinement and that Broom spirit will add drive and trainability. Her sire was a classic Barb type with a superior head which he passed on to his get and grand-get. He is 23 years old in this photo.
Her dam, Mora's Spring Dance is a colorful bay snowflaked appaloosa with a huge bald face, yet rather strangely, dark legs. She is owned by Rancho San Francisco, home of the American Indian Horse Registry, but lives at Karma Farms.
"Spring" has proven herself with great foals by Rowdy, Tiger and Locomotion, but we can't ever cross her to Broom again. This one's a Picasso.
"Willow" was the AIHR National Champion Green Pleasure Horse at the 2002 AIHR National Show in Corsicana, TX. She is safe for any rider and easy to catch in the pasture. $2500.
Karma Farms has several other nice mares and fillies for sale.
