In this photo you see the Womb below the miniature palms that grow on the cliffs above this great hotpool! Of course after a long soak its always great to go for a swim in a cool pool of chocolate milk! Yes at this fantastic springs you can leave the hotpool an dive directly into a luscious espresso mudbath of fun, and did I mention, great for exfoliating the skin too :-) Well, at least thats what some people think. Every cool chocolate creek has to have a tub ring around its edges to make it perfect! What more could you ask for, ah, but of course, a little wine to mellow the mood :-) Actually this hershey brown water came from the runoff of a nearby thunderstorm on the day this image was taken. Summer downpours can change things in a hurry at Deep Creek Hotsprings. Earlier this day the creek was running clear and you could see to the bottom of the large brown pool in this picture. Thunderstorms at the springs are great to witness but be wary of lightning and flooding conditions. OZ always has an adventure in store for its fortunate visitors!
