Peter Berg wrote and directed this tv series about a hospital for mentally challenged people. His mother worked voluntarily in one and so he got the idea for this tv-series to show the life of the doctors and patients likewise.

Unfortunately the show was cancelled after two episodes even so the critics were good.

Policemen have always been the idols of Freddy Heflin (Sylvester Stallone). Due to being slightly deaf, after saving a woman involved in a car crash, Heflin could never pass the physical to become a police officer himself. But he makes it Sheriff in a small town outside of New York City where many of the cops live who work in the "big city". But then an investigator from the internal bureau (Robert de Niro) comes into town and starts asking questions and Heflin discovers that some of his heros have a lot to answer for.

When the champ's promoter, Rev. Sultan (Samuel L. Jackson), decides something new is needed to boost the marketability of the boxing matches, he searches and finds the only man to ever beat the champ. The problem is that he isn't a boxer anymore and he's white. However, once Rev. Sultan convinces him to fight, he goes into heavy training while the confident champ takes it easy and falls out of shape.

Comedy (the story sounds familiar (Rocky) but this movie doesn't take itself too serious.
