For ‘Profiler’ co-star Erica Gimpel, it's good to have new blood on the show. And when we caught up with her at a recent NBC party, she said she's hoping that HER character, Angel Brown, who's an artist and the best friend of the show's main character Samantha Waters, will be more involved in upcoming storylines.

‘The biggest thing I'm hoping for with my character is creating more of an arch, which is, why am I in this situation, and the development of our friendship. we have a very rare friendship, especially growing up in the South and coming from two different backgrounds and how we've been able to transcend the race situation and really become like sisters.’

Projects besides Profiler
|
Besides her work on the series, Erica will be starring in a feature film to be released sometime this month called ‘Touch Me,’ a story which delves into how AIDS effects women.
