After the recent scare with my hard drive I thought it was about time I properly catalogued my vidcaps to make future recovery easier. And guess what? There's a whole mass of vidcaps I've been totally unable to identify. So this is your chance to show your knowedge and help me identify either the source, the actress or both. If you know the origin of any of the following why not let me know. No prizes except my thanks and my amazement!
So here are the first batch together with a few clues.
1. Now I really should know this but I don't. So any ideas? Seems pretty
certain that this is Joan Severence (from 'Dangerous Indescretion'). Thanks to everyone
who spotted this.
2.I've had some of these vidcaps several years and never worked out who/what it is. A
bit too obscure I suspect.
3. Quite a recent capture. Somebody thought this might be Katherine Harrold.
4. Coming soon to British TV? Never actually arrived as far as I know. Only trying
to identify the show here.
5. Once again I feel quite silly not being able to recognise this actress. As
suspected this is indeed Winona Ryder from the film 'Lost Souls'.
6. A military looking source, may be fairly recent. Karyn Dwyer in 'Lethal Tender'
appears to be the answer.
7. I have several vidcaps from this TV series but can't remember it's
title. Once again only trying to ID the show - it was a hero action series and
might have been Aussie produced (and might not).
8. Once again fairly recent (at least as far as the UK is concerned). Again a bit
too obscure I suspect.
9. Probably just a one-off from a TV series. Looks a bit like Lisa Kudrow but once
again I've made a pretty obscure choice here.
10. Once again a TV show and fairly recent to the UK. I must have had a real mind
block with this. It is from the Daryl Hannah film 'First Target' which I reviewed last
year.
11. This is from 'Magnum PI'. However I need the name of the actress for a future
('Silence is Golden') article. Thanks to all who identified this actress as Randi
Brooks(Brazen).
12. One for Anglophiles. Probably 1980's and this action mini-series also starred Mary
Tamm in a tale of kidnapping and terrorists. Hey, a point to me on this one. It is
taken from either 'The Treachery Game' or 'The Assassination Run'.
13. Looks a bit like Jeane Garfalo's mother! Quite a few have
helped me out here. The actress is Delta Burke and the film is 'Melanie Darrow' (and NO
she is nowhere near old enough to be Jeanne Garfalo's mum!).
14. Know the show (Eerie Indiana) but don't know the actress. I'm amazed but
somebody knew this was actress Anita Morris! (and no it's not a wig)
15. Anybody know this actress. The show is 'Nash Bridges'. I've been told this is
Morgan Brittany who is appearing in mainstream movies these days.
16. Trying to trace the film and actress. It is one of those Shannon Tweed (so-called)
erotic thrillers. Thanks to 'D' for putting me out of my misery here. The name of
the actress is Rochelle Swanson and even though this isn't a Shannon Tweed vidcap she does
often co-star with her. I'm sure lots of you knew who she was but were just too
embarrassed to admit it (wink).
17. Particularly trying to identify the actress in the middle. The show is 'Diagnosis
Murder'. Pretty sure I'll be able to figure this out from the cast list.
18. Once again I've seen her in many TV shows, this is from 'Highlander'. Mmm.
Seen her in something else recently so might be able to come up with an ID myself.
