'The Girl Next Door'

"I take these dates and I put them in water until they're really nice and moist.  Then I add a little lemon juice, a little sugar, then I take this and I stick it underneath the sink for a couple of weeks.  And I let it get real mouldy, you know, when the fur starts growing on it.  It's good like that.  Then I stick it in the blender, put a little maple syrup on it and there you go."
