I am going to revamp this site to make it more pleasing to the eyes of the viewers & more informative as some ppl have stepped forward w/some info....^_^ I am just rewriting some text here: nothing really new! so sorry!!
Harlem Beat is a fantastic manga about a boy and his goals....It's a very uplifting story much like Slam Dunk but not in as much serious tone. Currently there are 24 tankoubans & the series I think is still running in Japan.....Mixxzine is publishing Harlem Beat in english so the beginning is now available in the US. I think Harlem Beat has stopped running in Mixxzine now.... Please e-mail me if you have any comments, questions, pictures, information. I would appreciate it very much !! A Basketball story so inspiring . . . . .

Nate is now in high school & tries out for the basketball team; however, like everytime before he messes up his chance to not be a benchwarmer at practice! What's a guy to do after being benchwarmer once again!? Well, a meeting with Mizzy, the Basketball Queen, again changes that.....thus Harlem Beat begins bringing you a great manga. Sorry, I've only got the first chapter & I don't know where to buy the rest by Mixxzine for 1.) It's not at my local book store anymore since Smile appeared.2.) No transportation to another book store. anyone out there willing to fill me in on the latest on Harlem Beat, I would be much obliged to.
