"I didn't intend to buy a
dog the day I saw Cuervo. I'd always wanted a dog like him."
One Life to Live's David
Fumero couldn't resist a dog with a loveable face like this!
Man's Best Friend
It was love at first sight when David Fumero (Crisitian, OLTL)
first saw a beautiful nine-week-old French Mastif puppy. "I'd wanted
one of these dogs and I looked them up on the Internet. I found this
breeder and went out to see him. Cuervo was such a cool little puppy-
he was following me around everywhere," says Fumero. He wounded up
getting the dog on the spot, and good pal Don Jeffocat (Joey), who
had gone with him, helped name him. "He came up Cuervo Gold, but I
decided to call him Cuervo 1800." Cuervo is now 16 months old, weighs
105 pounds and he's still growing. What are his favorite things to
do? "He goes nuts for tennis balls. He also loves to tug. He's so
funny. We have to wipe his mouth after he eats or drinks," laughs
Fumero.
