Meet Lina Inverse (who's last name has nothing to do with this page, Anime Inverse), she's a 15-16 year
old sorceress. Some dub her as the bandit killer. Do you want to know why? Well I'm not gonna tell you so figure it out yourself.
Anyway, there are two Slayers storylines, Slayers Special, and the Slayers T.V. episodes. Sofware Sculptors has
currently released the first 30 episodes of the T.V. episodes of the Slayers in the U.S. Slayers Next, the second season, is currently being released.
The Slayers Special storyline takes place before the Slayers T.V. episodes. If you are one of those lucky individuals
like me (hehe) then you've seen the subtitled episodes, including the Slayers Movies. In the Slayers Special series (which includes
the movies) Lina travels with Naga on various adventures. Both girls are sorceresses, but we can see that Lina is more powerful. Naga wears
a costume that covers just about none of her private parts, so you horny individuals are in for a treat. Lina, however, is more conservative
with her costume. As they travel together, the two of them meet up with strange, stupid, new characters and generally try to get more money by
doing various jobs and such. (See the Slayers Review for more info)
The Slayers T.V. episodes follow more of a continuing storyline. Naga is no where to be found, instead, Lina has a new companion in which she travels with, Gourry Gabriev. The first 10 episodes deal with Lina and Gourry's adventure. I don't want to give too much away (you can see the Slayers Review for that), but it deals with Rezo, the red priest, Shabrinigdo (try saying that 3 times fast), and Zelgadis.
