| There aren't many photograph of
John Cassavetes. At least to buy. At least online.
Probably I should do a trip to California to meet Sam
Shaw - in all the documentaries I saw he shows his
collection and is TERRIFIC. I know this site is dedicated
to John Cassavetes the Filmmaker, but I can't help but
considering a more "light" side of him. He was
handsome, in a rugged way. The way I love. He didn't care
much, but I do. If you have a penchant for iconoclastic
stuff, and think that a good picture tells more than a
lot of words, this section will be of a little help. A
suggestion, try to get the book by Le Cahiers du Cinema,
Autoportraits. The closest thing to a perfect book I've
ever saw. |
