Just Shoot Me premiered in the spring of 1997. The show is about Maya Gallo, an accomplished reporter who is fired from her previous job for making an anchor woman cry on the air. She is forced to take a job as articles editor at her womanizing father's (Jack Gallo) magazine (Blush). Maya has a hard time getting along with her co-workers: Nina Van Horn the fashion's editor, Elliott DiMauro the photographer, and Dennis Finch Jack's secretary.
