When easy-going Jack explodes for no apparent reason, his perplexed staff set out to solve the mystery of the outburst, and piecing together everyone's clues, Maya concludes he's having an affair with a waitress named Rhonda (Betsy Palmer). However, her excursion to the Brooklyn diner where the suspected hussy works results in a surprising revelation. Meanwhile, Finch plays hard to get with Courtney (Megan Gallivan), an attractive accounting clerk, and has her desperately desiring a date with him.
