NYE CONCERT REHEARSAL
I am honored to have attended this event Hi all, I wanted to tell you all of the great time I
had with other fans at the rehearsal for the concert. We ( Vanessa Caron, Stacy Caron and myself) had gotten to the NCRC around 6:30 Pm. We had been here earlier in the day
to take pictures of the giant banners that were up and had gotten in fine. But this time we were greeted by two people who I believe were parking attendants. They asked us what we were there for and we told them we wanted to find out about a rehearsal, we were told it would start around 7:00. We were told to go down this road, turn at the sign, park and go to security. When we got to the security office we found that Diana Hesse and a few other fans were already there. We were told to wait there a minute while they checked. A man came and open the doors and told us to follow him, he led us down a long hallway where we saw the bands equipment and stuff, there we met a nice women with a brittish accent and she asked how many of us were there. At that time there were 11 I believe .( turned into almost 100!) We were all given rehearsal passes and then led backstage and then into the concert area itself
We were seated in the first two rows, but then were asked to move back to the second section upon Bee Gees management request. So we all did (against our wishes.) But we were told we could take pictures:-) We were there till about 8:00 when the brothers arrived and took the stage. They warmed up, joked with each other then performed a total of about 8 songs ( not the entire songs on some) After I believe was the third song Barry said to us.."okay, come on
down" and we gladly returned to our rightful places in the first two rows! I was luck enough to have gotten a seat in the first row in front of Barry, next to Diana. I can't beleve noone had gotten there before me,concidering I was stopped on my way to the front by Ed ( the merchandise guy) It was a great treat to see the "behind the scenes" things that go on to prepare for a show. I am so looking forward to tomorrow night. I will get my pics developed and HOPE they turned out since we were told we could not use a flash. but then later I found out we were allowed, but by that time it was too late for me:-(.

<< Picture of my rehearsal pass (it says, no backstage, but we saw backstage when they brought us into the arena by way of the backsage!)
Some of the songs they rehearsal were
How deep is your love
More then a women
Our love (don't throw it all away)
words and
Massachutes, among other I can't remember:-)
A night I'll never forget This was truely an honor to have been present for this rehearsal and something I will always remember. My fave moments of this night was the "stampped" of fans racing to the front when Barry said "come on down" and Barry video taping the audiance on his home video camera.
