3000: A Space OddityA classic in every sense of the word, this is Mike Barklage's version of what happened to Joel after he escaped from the Satellite of Love. Written with tongue firmly planted in cheek, it's a hilarious tale that manages to encompass all of the show's history and more. Features Torgo, Beeper, Dr. Forrester's Fictional-Character-Creating Machine of Death (patent pending) as well as the unforgettable "old man and his dog". This one's a must read.
Monster MovieBy Paula O'Keefe Hey, this is really neat! Set in Joel's era of the show, the inhabitants of the Satellite are rather rudely disturbed by a large amorphous black thing that threatens to do all manner of nasty things to all five of them but mostly to Joel. In the end it's up to Crow to save the day. Will he do it? Well, okay, it's not that likely that he's going to fail, but I've got to build up some suspense don't I?
And Other Science Facts...By Lisa Jenkins Unfinished So what's the real story behind Joel's early years? This rather nifty story attempts to explain all the details, like how he got shot into space, how he created the bots and how he really eats and breathes. It's interesting and well written, though it unfortunately isn't finished. Oh well.
A Typical Day on the SatelliteThis starts off well enough, but then quickly degenerates into complete bizarreness. I guess it's kind of cute, in a cheesy type of way. I dunno, decide for yourself… The Return Of Mr. B NaturalBy Brandy Marrs (Joeanne), Trav Reis (IGD) and Lisa Pugliese (Jody the Nanite). Unfinished In this interactive story (written by three people on Prodigy), Mr. B Natural teams up with the insufferably evil Timmy in an attempt to awaken the spirit of music in everyone.
