Castlevania News

8/24/00 : The next castlevania game has finally been announced for the gameboy advance. The title right now is Castlevania: Circle of the Moon. From what I have seen it looks good so far. Hopefully the gameplay is more fast paced than the older gameboy titles.Maybe the 2d sprites pictured below from 8/18 are what the characters look like.

8/18/00 : Another piece of news is that Konami has put some new 2d sprites on thier page of what could possibly be parts of the next castlevania game. Everyone is saying that the new sprite of richter doesnt look much like the one in the 2 pictures of the little known Shin Dracula X, but those pictures are one year old. The game has probably come a long way since then.

8/18/00 : This isnt really much news, but there has been alot of confusion about the dreamcast castlevania game's status. I wanted to make sure so I emailed Konami and asked them myself if the game is cancelled or still under development and here was their reply. "Hi, this title has been canceled." Hopefully they will change thier minds (for the 20th time) and release it after giving it a good workdown.
